Jelly Now Lets You Ask Questions About Specific Locations

Jelly, the question-and-answer-based social network created by Twitter cofounder Biz Stone, got its first major update Monday.


The app now lets users ask questions tied to specific locations and pushes those questions to nearby users. To specify a location, just drop a pin on a map. Previously, questions could be either just text or a combination of text and photos.



"You can ask with your camera, you can ask with a decidedly familiar blank white space, and now, you can ask using an interactive map of the world," said Stone in a blog post detailing the update. "We’ve designed a better way to ask questions — simple, visual, and interactive. We’ve learned so much just by paying attention to how people use the service." Read more...
