Super Bowl XLVIII Could Be the Coldest Ever

Super Bowl XLVIII, which pits the Denver Broncos against the Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 2, will take place at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. It will be the first NFL title game held outdoors in a city where it snows.

As a result, this year's game may be the coldest Super Bowl in history, with predicted temperatures possibly reaching as low as 22 degrees Fahrenheit, according to Bloomberg. The coldest Super Bowl game to date was in 1972 — the Dallas Cowboys versus the Miami Dolphins at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans — at a crisp 39 degrees.

Warner Bros. Takes You Behind the Bricks of 'The Lego Movie'

With The Lego Movie set to debut on Feb. 7, its creators gave fans a tongue-in-cheek look at what went down "behind the bricks" when the cameras weren't rolling.

The clip from Warner Bros. Pictures features animated interviews with the film's minifigure cast, including Chris Pratt's Emmet Brickowoski, Elizabeth Banks' Wyldstyle and Will Arnett's Batman. Christie Appointee Says Governor Knew About Lane Closures on Bridge

Through his lawyer, the former Port Authority official who personally oversaw the George Washington Bridge lane closures has said New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie had knowledge of the scandal, contrary to the governor's previous public statements.

An attorney for the former official, David Wildstein, said in a letter that the lane closures were "the Christie administration’s order" and "evidence exists as well tying Mr. Christie to having knowledge of the lane closures," according to Friday reports by the New York Times and The Record .

Google is experiencing a glitch with Gmail that's causing the web mail service to slow down for some users. Although it's not nearly as far-reaching as last week's outage, the issue is causing problems for users trying to access conversations among multiple people.

Gmail's People Widget appears to be the cause of the sluggishness, which is only affecting Gmail on the web, Google says. For users with the widget enabled — which is the default — there is a delay in performing actions on conversation threads between multiple people.
