If you're not watching the Spelling Bee on Thursday you're really doing Thursday wrong

Aside from all the smart kids spelling words like salicetum and pneumatocyst while we were left scratching our heads, the scenes in between contestants are just spectacular.

In one that aired early Thursday afternoon, producers remixed the famous #Selfie song to be more friendly for fans of the spelling bee: It was called "spellfie" — and it spawned a new type of selfie.
