As 3D printing continues to revolutionize a broad range of industries, retail giant Amazon is getting in on the action by launching its own 3D printing store Monday
A new tab on the Seattle-based company's website allows users to select objects to print out. More than 200 items are available to choose from, including toys, jewelry, phone cases and even bobbleheads.
"The introduction of our 3D Printed Products store suggests the beginnings of a shift in online retail - that manufacturing can be more nimble to provide an immersive customer experience," Petra Schindler-Carter, director for Amazon marketplace sales, said in a statement. Read more...
