"Time is a flat circle," Rust Cohle infamously said in the first season of True Detective. "Everything we've ever done or will do, we're gonna do over and over and over again."
Everything, that is, except watching two male leads stalking a Bayou killer on True Detective. Season 2 will have three lead actors and take place in some obscure parts of California, series creator Nic Pizzolatto (above, left, with Season 1 star Matthew McConaughey) said in an interview with the radio show To the Best of Our Knowledge.

"We’re working with three leads," Pizzolatto said. "It takes place in California — not Los Angeles, but some of the much lesser known venues of California — and we’re going to try to capture a certain psychosphere ambiance of the place, much like we did in Season 1." Read more...
