Martin Luther King, Jr., made history on Aug. 28, 1963, with his rousing "I Have a Dream" speech. Fifty years later, the Golf Channel fell into the sand trap of trying to join the conversation commemorating the event.
In a tweet that has since been deleted, The Golf Channel tried to prompt its followers to tweet their own "golf dreams" to honor the occasion:
