The 10 Companies That Own the Internet

Roughly one of every seven people on the planet visited a Google web property in July. Google sites received 1.2 billion unique visitors in that month alone.

Statista's chart, below, shows the 10 companies with the most frequently visited properties on the Internet, ranked by number of unique monthly visitors.

While Google is the world leader, Microsoft, Facebook and Yahoo's properties are each visited by nearly one out of every nine people on earth.
