Amazon Introduces Fire TV Set-Top Box

The Amazon Fire TV, which is not a dongle like the Google Chromecast device, comes with a quad-core process, 2 GB of RAM and a dedicated GPU, most likely for gaming purposes. Amazon said the Fire TV is three times more powerful than the Apple TV. The remote control, which resembles a hybird of the Apple TV remote and Boxee's original remote, is Bluetooth based.
