True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto says he has been unfairly accused of plagiarism
Earlier this week, Mike Davis, the editor of the Lovecraft eZine, published a post that pointed out several similarities between the dialogue featured on the Emmy nominated show and the work of author Thomas Ligotti
In Davis' examples, the dialogue of Matthew McConaughey's Rust Cohle in particular seemed to have paraphrased content from Ligotti's nonfiction book, The Conspiracy Against the Human Race.
