In Voice of Dumbledore, J.K. Rowling Pens Letter to Shooting Survivor

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has sent a personalized letter, in the voice of Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore, to shooting victim Cassidy Stay

Stay, 15, was the sole survivor of a shooting in her Houston, Texas, home on July 9, in which an ex-family member killed both her parents and four siblings.

During a memorial for her family, held just days after the shooting, Stay spoke to the public and quoted Dumbledore from The Prisoner of Azkaban, saying "Happiness can be found even in the darkest times if one only remembers to turn on the light.” Read more...
