Tour Buses Collide Near Times Square; Injuries Reported

Two double-decker tour buses collided in New York City's Times Square Tuesday afternoon in full view of dozens of pedestrians waiting in line at the TKTS booth, which sells discount tickets for Broadway shows

Witnesses tell Mashable that people were injured during the incident, which involved the two tour buses, a black SUV and a street sign that was knocked onto the ground, but that information could not be confirmed independently.

A detective with the NYPD's Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information confirmed that two buses collided but had no information about any injuries. "That's what I have right now," she said. "Working on it." Read more...
