'Breaking Bad' Finale Increases Spotify Streams for 'Baby Blue' by 9,000%

It's no mystery that TV shows can introduce music to fresh ears or revive long-forgotten songs, particularly now with online music-on-demand servicesBreaking Bad 's final episode did just that Sunday for British rock band Badfinger's song "Baby Blue" from 1972

The somber song — which opens with the lyrics, "Guess I got what I deserved" — played during the waning minutes of the show's "Felina" episode. Since that moment, "Baby Blue" streams have increased 9,000% on Spotify, a company spokesman confirmed to Mashable.
