Microsoft on Wednesday rolled out its Xbox Video store to the web, allowing users access to its collection of 300,000 movies and TV shows via XboxVideo.com
However, the service, which streams the same content found on on the Xbox One app and Windows 8 platform, is missing one very key component: HD support.
This means if you want to see content streamed in high definition, you must access the dedicated Xbox Video app only on a Microsoft device, such as a Surface tablet.
The website will serve as a replacement for its Zune video service, as Microsoft cuts compatibility with devices in early 2014. Read more...
