Anas Hamra was happy.
Three months before we connected on Google Hangout, the 24-year-old journalist and documentary filmmaker had just finished filming a version of Pharrell's "Happy" video that featured Palestinians in Gaza strip, smiling and dancing.
Some 250,000 people watched the video, leaving comments praising Anas for showing a different side of the Gaza Strip, with some of the more popular comments coming from Israelis.
"Like from Israel, Ashkelon (A city that is in conflict with Gaza)!" said one.
"This is a very enjoyable video, and I wish nothing but Happiness like this to the people of Gaza. From your so-called-enemy, Israel," said another. Read more...
