Man Drunkenly Writes Petition for Weird Al to Perform at Super Bowl

A man walks into a bar and then submits a Change.org petition, urging the National Football League to pick Weird Al Yankovic as next year's Super Bowl halftime show headliner

This is not a joke

The petition, which already has more than 7,500 supporters as of Wednesday afternoon, resulted from football fan Ed Ball's recent bar outing during which he says he and a random female patron started discussing potential Super Bowl XLIX performers

"I drunkingly submitted (hence the bad grammar, no proofreading) this petition," Ball wrote in a Change.org comment filled with misspellings after the petition reached 4,000 signatures. "She mentioned Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez, Iggy Azalea, that band that sings 'Rude,' among many other terrible ideas." Read more...
