Woman Spends a Year Recreating Selfies Taken on Lost iPhone

Danielle Bruckman found the world's most talented selfie snapper after misplacing her iPhone.

Last New Year's Eve, Bruckman's phone went missing. A month later, selfies of a mysterious man with a bitchin' mustache began appearing on her iCloud. Rather than delete the photos, Bruckman began recreating the man's photos with the help of a stick-on mustache and impressive face-twisting skills

"James Franco is not the King of Selfie — as he names himself," Bruckman told Mashable. "I would argue that my cloud pal is the true king."

Bruckman documents her selfie shenanigans — or what she calls "(in)appropriation art" — on a Tumblr page called "My Cloud Pal," which launched last week. She says she waited to upload the photos not for any reason other than procrastination. "I waited until I had a break from work to do it.
